Redistricting Subcommittee to Hold Local Public Hearing
Romeoville–
Area legislators and members of the Illinois House Committee on
Redistricting will be in Romeoville on Monday, May 7, to gather
input on the Congressional and legislative re-map process. Representatives
from local governments and community organizations will testify
about the anticipated impact the new map will have on their constituencies
and members.
Following two
full Committee hearings – one in Springfield, one in Chicago –
a series of subcommittee hearings have been scheduled in communities
throughout Illinois.
