CHICAGO – The Illinois House
Committee on Redistricting will meet in Chicago at the James R.
Thompson Center on Friday, April 27, to gather input on the Congressional
and legislative re-map process. House Speaker Michael J. Madigan
and Minority Leader Lee Daniels will co-chair the public hearing
as representatives from local governments and community organizations
testify about the anticipated impact the new map will have on
their constituencies and members.
